The Flight

1 hour discovery flight - 3 hours service

The perfect way to discover our beautiful Dordogne and its Valley of Castles, as seen only from the sky.

The appointment

We will meet in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle (24250), at the place called "Tournepique", on the large car park at the bottom of the village, behind the post office and the bakery "Maison Carré".

You can park your car for free and we will take you directly to the take-off area strategically chosen by the pilot according to the wind direction, in order to guarantee you the most beautiful and interesting flight possible.

So that you can enjoy the view, we have 5 approved take-off platforms ideally located in the heart of the valley of castles, near the most beautiful monuments!

The Flight

At dawn or just before sunset, you'll take your place in the nacelle with other wind passengers, and take off on an unforgettable journey over the most beautiful sites of the Périgord Noir, where the rolling landscapes, the colors of the Dordogne and the medieval architecture are gently contemplated as the wind blows.
The experienced and passionate team will be delighted to share their historical knowledge of the areas they fly over.
You'll be able to take part in every stage of the adventure, including inflating and folding your balloon.

After the flight

To prolong the magic of this moment together, a country-style breakfast or "balloonist's drink" will be served to you on landing by your pilot and his crew.
We'll then take you back to the meeting point in one of our vehicles.

Security

Our hot-air balloons comply perfectly with the regulations and safety standards in force.

Flight confirmation

Please contact us at least 48 hours before your flight to confirm your arrival, by telephone (06 83 26 47 66), SMS or e-mail (contact@perigord-dordogne-montgolfieres.com).
We will then contact you the day before your flight, by 2pm at the latest, to confirm your appointment, depending on weather conditions.

 

Rates (sliding scale)

  • 1 passenger: 215 €.
  • 2 passengers: 205 € per passenger
  • From 3 passengers: 195 € per passenger
  • Children from 6 to 12 years old included: 115 € per child
