Realize a childhood dream; become a hot air balloon pilot and discover the magic of free flight.

Our FFA instructors offer you a complete training.

To obtain the certificate and the free balloon pilot license , the candidate must, in addition to the conditions of physical fitness required, fulfill the following conditions:

  1. Being at least 17 years old,
  2. Have undergone training under the supervision and direction of a qualified instructor comprising: 10 ascents with a total duration of at least 12 hours including at least one ascent as a pilot to an altitude of 1,000 m and 2 climbs alone on board with a total duration of at least 2 hours
  3. Having passed ground and flight tests defined by decree

The free balloon pilot license allows its holder to exercise the functions of pilot-in-command on any free balloon corresponding to the statement (s) on his license and whether or not carrying passengers.
