»» The taking-off site: I have three take-off pads: chateaus de Castelnaud (agreement #050707), Chateau des Milandes (agreement #050706), and the pad from which I most of the time, take-off: the park of Chateau de Monrecour (agreement #050654) in Saint Vincent de Cosse (1.5 km from Beynac in the direction of Bergerac), facing the chateau des Milandes.
»» Our flights: it takes us approx. 40 minutes to prepare the hot-air-balloon, and our flight lasts 1 hour on average. When the flight is over, a special surprise awaits you... after that, we drive you back to the taking off site. We stay a maximum of 3 hours together.
»» Meeting point is in the park of the Chateau de Monrecour, or where I have decided according to the day weather and wind conditions; I always let you know in advance.
»» Time schedule: our flights take place either early in the morning or by the end of the afternoon, when all winds have generally calmed down. Flights take place all year round.
»» Vertigo: many people are afraid of flying in a hot-air-balloon. There is no need to fear to suffer from vertigo, as this problem does not appear unless you keep a direct relation with the ground (when you are on a chair or a ladder for example). Besides, I have been teaching flying for twenty years, which helps me rapidly make you feel confident.
»» Clothing: all you need is a pair of regular shoes, pants, a light sweater and, of course, a camera to take pictures. A cap is welcome, but we can lend one if you do not have any.
»» Insurance: Each passenger flying in our hot-air balloons is insured according to the Warsaw Agreement regulating flights and air transport. Personal items brought by our guests are not covered.
»» Disabled persons: welcome on board! Please contact us in advance and we will arrange everything to make your flight unforgettable.
